We are a studio based in Toronto.
We work in Degrees Kevin : Nanometers and Millimeters. We use 100-year-old plumb bobs while also embracing AI.
Our goal is to create the best files that will be most useful to the people of the future who engage with them on line or on the printed page.
We understand that everything is changing rapidly, while the demands on people and institutions remain the same. Our aim is to make our work invisible — allowing the artwork to take center stage on the screen or page.
At our core, we are driven by curiosity and joy..
Curatorial Photography was found by Sandy Nicholson
Sandy has been creating images with and about artists since 1994. Over that time, he has worked with black-and-white film, color negatives, and color transparencies — later transitioning into digital stills and motion. His work has appeared in numerous books and magazines, and he has also published several of his own.
Through decades of experience, Sandy has developed a deep understanding of CMYK separations, print proofing, and color reproduction — knowledge that continues to inform every image produced at Curatorial Photography.
I can't wait to hear from you and learn about your project.
